The robotic device, known as an exoskeleton, is worn on the lower limbs of an individual and uses a series of motors to propel the legs and achieve walking.<\/span><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span>We invite you to take part in a research study if you meet the following requirements:<\/span><\/p><ul><li><span>Age between 18 &#8211; 55<\/span><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li><\/ul><ul><li><span>Height between 1.5m &#8211; 2m (4ft 11in. &#8211; 6ft 6in.)<\/span><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li><\/ul><ul><li><span>Weight under 118kg (260lbs)<\/span><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li><\/ul><ul><li><span>Able to walk\/use stairs without assistance<\/span><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li><\/ul><ul><li><span>Willing to come for testing visit and follow researcher instructions<\/span><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li><\/ul><ul><li><span>No known cardiovascular, pulmonary, metabolic, muscular, and\/or coronary heart disease<\/span><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li><\/ul><ul><li><span>No neurological disorders<\/span><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li><\/ul><ul><li><span>No severe arthritis<\/span><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li><\/ul><ul><li><span>No upper\/lower extremity orthopedic conditions that limit activity<\/span><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li><\/ul><ul><li><span>Haven\u2019t recently undergone surgery or suffered a severe injury<\/span><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li><\/ul><ul><li><span>Are not currently undergoing a rehabilitation program<\/span><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li><\/ul><ul><li><span>Do not regularly use prescription medication that could alter response to exercise\/affect ambulation<\/span><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li><\/ul><ul><li><span>Not under the influence of any substance that could alter response to exercise\/affect ambulation<\/span><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li><\/ul><ul><li><span>Don\u2019t have a chronic condition that could alter response to exercise\/affect ambulation<\/span><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li><\/ul><ul><li><span>No allergy to silver<\/span><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li><\/ul><ul><li><span>Are not currently pregnant<\/span><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li><\/ul><p><span>Please note the in-person location of this study.
