- Dr. Li and his group participated in the UCF Camp Connect Advanced organized by the Center for Initiatives in STEM, and hosted 5 local high-school students: L. Amarini, L. Bennett, S.D. Abreu, C. Herbert, and Z. Roberson, for a whole week full of various activities including: material synthesis & TGA/DSC testing, TCES reactor design & testing, CFD modeling & simulation, and scientific presentation, Jun. 2026.

- Dr. Li served as Faculty Advisor for the “Solar Powered Bike Lanes” project of the competitive robotics program at the Starkville Armstrong Middle School. Had a great opportunity working with the middle school students and enjoyed the inspiring discussions. Nov. 2019.
