The 2022 Spring Technical Meeting of the ESSCI will be held the 6th through the 9th of March, in Orlando, Florida at the University of Central Florida. You can submit a paper for the following topics through The Combustion Institute website:

  • Reaction Kinetics and Fuels
  • Laminar Flames
  • Turbulent Flames
  • Fire Research
  • Detonations and Supersonic Combustion
  • Heterogeneous Combustion/Spray and Droplets
  • Soot and Nanomaterials
  • IC Engines, Gas Turbines, and Rockets
  • Diagnostics
  • Computationally and Data Intensive Research
  • Novel Energy Conversion Techniques
Submission Dates

Prospective authors should submit an abstract of 150 to 300 words online. Decisions on acceptance will be transmitted to the authors by the ESSCI Program Chair. Full papers of at least 5 pages in length are to be submitted electronically and will be distributed to all registrants. Presentation of papers is contingent upon having an electronic copy of the accepted paper received by the deadline below. All submissions and registration for the 2022 ESSCI Spring Technical Meeting will be done through the CI website by the following dates:

  • 1 December 2021 – Submissions open
  • 12 January 2022 – Abstracts due
  • 14 January 2022 – Abstract decisions communicated
  • 2 February 2022 – Final papers due
