Both students and faculty from the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering were honored at the 2021 Founder’s Day Convocation, which recognized the outstanding academic achievements of UCF Knights.
The event was hosted virtually this year and featured interviews with President Alexander Cartwright, Provost Michael Johnson and Vice Provost for Faculty Excellence Jana Jasinski. The Founders’ Day Awards celebrate the outstanding academic achievements of faculty members and students. The annual convocation recognizes faculty members for outstanding teaching, advising, mentoring, research, professional service, librarianship, and instruction. This includes recognition of UCF Reach for the Stars Award recipients for their highly successful early-career research and creative activity, and Pegasus Professor Award recipients for receiving UCF’s highest honor of excellence.
